American National Bank to Purchase Council Bluffs Locations of Liberty Bank

American National Bank announced today that it has entered into an Agreement with Liberty Bank to purchase their two Council Bluffs, Iowa locations at 1230 E. Pierce Street and 2650 W. Broadway and the Loan Production Office at 320 McKenzie Avenue. The purchase is subject to regulatory approval.

American National Bank will assume all of the customer deposits and a majority of the loans. The purchase and conversion should be complete in early January. Before that time, customers will receive a letter providing additional details regarding their accounts and are encouraged to visit to learn more about American National Bank.
