Protect your identity by shredding printed documents and old computer hard drives that contain personal information!
Shred One KC will be on site to collect paper materials to be safely and securely destroyed at their facility. Paper materials in paper grocery bags and cardboard boxes can be accepted as recyclable.
Items that are NOT acceptable are plastic materials including grocery bags, metal objects, and wet or moldy paper. Each customer may bring up to seven standard-size storage boxes.
Synetic Technologies will be on site to provide hard drive destruction and electronics recycling. They are also accepting electronic items such as computers, laptops, monitors, cell phones, printers, TVs, VCRs, DVD players, camcorders, cameras, game players and joysticks. Telephones, pagers, answering machines, fax machines, copiers and postage meters are also accepted. There may be a fee for some items collected.
Items NOT accepted included: lightbulbs, alkaline batteries, fluorescents, household chemicals, toys, paint, vacuum cleaners, toaster ovens and microwaves.
