Meet Dustin Walker
Dustin Walker Dustin Walker is someone you might meet if you visit the Commercial Loan Department at CNB Bank. Dustin has been working at CNB Bank for almost seven years. His job entails completing commercial loans, and also overseeing the other commercial and consumer lenders at the Bank.

“We complete projects as small as $1,000 loans, up to multi-million-dollar hotel construction projects,” Dustin said.

Dustin explained that when he was in high school, he wanted to have a job in agricultural lending because he wanted a job in an office environment that also included field work. Over time, his goal transitioned from agricultural lending to commercial lending.

“The thing I enjoy most about my job is dealing with people and getting to watch new businesses grow and succeed,” Dustin explained.

When asked what one piece of advice he would give a customer or potential customer, Dustin said, “I would advise business owners to be aware of the surrounding economy and get involved within the community so that they are aware of changes that are happening, and can adjust their business models to meet the demand of the economy and the needs of the community.”

Outside of work Dustin enjoys ranching, fishing, and hunting.

CNB Makes Contribution to Packs For Hunger

CNB recently donated $1,000 to E.S.A. Zeta Nu’s local project, Packs for Hunger, which works to fill backpacks with nonperishable food for children who are in need of meals over the weekend. The school staff determines which children are most in need, and Zeta Nu delivers the backpacks. The children can continue the program as long as they return the backpacks each Monday.

Several CNB Bank Employees attended the Packs For Hunger Mayor's Shindig Fundraiser. (pictured above)
