Entrepreneurship training starts early at Garfield Elementary
cb staff volunteers in 5th grade classroom

Get ready, Kansas City. You’ve got a whole new crop of entrepreneurs who are going to take the city by storm…or slime. Students from Ms. Reinhardt’s 5th grade class at Garfield Elementary presented their ideas for businesses last month: Toys4military, Life Hacks, Slime, CyberLock, Cupcakes, Bracelet Magic, and Henna were just some of the entrepreneurial ideas that the children presented to their classmates, teachers and two officers from Central Bank of Kansas City. Each team had to identify a problem … an unmet need, and then develop a product or service that met that need.
