Congressman Cleaver visits classrooms

Central Bank of KC visited 7 urban classrooms with a fun lesson about saving, as part of Money Smart KC and Teach Children to Save. The first and second graders were excited to hear the stories we read about saving money like The Berenstain Bears Trouble with Money and Start Saving Henry. We visited both 1st and 2nd grade classrooms at Scuola Vita Nuova, one classroom at Garfield Elementary, as well as two 2nd grade classes at Phillips@Attucks. Congressman Emanuel Cleaver visited that session at Phillips@Attucks and really connected with the 40 students.

4th Annual High School Competition
