County National Bank’s Board of Directors includes eight elected business leaders from diverse backgrounds representing our geographic market. It is the duty of the Board of Directors to see that the bank is properly managed and that the bank officers conduct the bank’s business carefully, safely, and properly with profit. Bank directors are accountable not only to the shareholders, but also to the bank regulators to ensure compliance with rules and bank practices. They are also responsible for being educated on bank management, matters of finance, and more. As you can see, CNB’s Board of Directors assumes a heavy responsibility.

Don Germann, Jonesville Branch Officer, received the Entrepreneurial Vision Award at the Economic Development Partnership (EDP) Annual Dinner held on March 10th at the Curtiss Dining Hall at Hillsdale College. Christine Quinn, the President of South Central Michigan Works!, presented Don with the award that honors an individual or organization that has made an outstanding contribution to the entrepreneurial growth of Hillsdale County through assisting entrepreneurs to become successful by providing business, educational and/or community support.
