Thank You for Your Business
by Craig S. Connor

Craig S. Connor, President and CEO
Whether you are a long time customer or brand new, I would like to personally thank you for doing business with CNB. Your patronage is so very important to us as it allows us to fulfill an obligation to the local economies of South Central Lower Michigan. Today, CNB has over 20,000 banking customers.  All of those banking relationships help to provide us the resources needed to offer commercial banking services.  This is a win/win for commerce in our communities.
Please know that our employees, management and Board of Directors continue to work hard to earn your business each day. Our commitment includes the ongoing investment in technology, training and facilities. We know that in order for us to stay relative and competitive in today’s fast changing world we must provide the area with competitive products and great service, never forgetting the importance of operating a safe and sound financial institution.
Please accept my sincere thanks for doing business with CNB.

Introducing the New Flex 40 CD
It’s a Certificate of Deposit with Flexibility!

County National Bank’s new Flex 40 CD is a 40-month Certificate of Deposit that comes with an option: if the interest rate increases during the CD’s term, you can tell us to raise your rate for the remainder of the term. You may exercise this option one time at any time during the 40-month term. That’s flexibility!

Debit Card Fraud
What to Know and How to Prevent It

Debit card fraud has become a profitable industry for thieves, and a costly headache for financial institutions, merchants, and consumers.

You may be aware that County National Bank has restricted signature-based debit card transactions (those transactions that are conducted with a signature only and not a PIN) outside of Michigan, Ohio, and Indiana in an effort to curtail the fraud activity. PIN-based debit card transactions and ATM withdrawals are still being accepted. Although this restrictive action may be inconvenient for some of our customers, please understand that security is our priority. We have found that placing these restrictions for states with higher levels of fraud activity has helped to alleviate the problem.

Sculptures Create Sidewalk Talk

Jonesville Seniors Dylan Church and Jenna Kast stand with Jonesville Branch Officer Don Germann next to their sculptures at the CNB office in downtown Jonesville. The bank has partnered with the Jonesville High School art class and students design, create, and install their art projects twice a year in the front area outside of the bank. Their artwork has sparked interest and conversations from passersby. Creativity is alive and well in Jonesville Community Schools’ students, and the bank is proud to display their talents!
