All of us at Dedham Savings would like to thank those who took the time to join us for our 34th Annual Holiday Program which took place from December 11th-16th, 2017. The community enjoyed lots of festive holiday music and entertainment by performers such as Andrew Smith, the Brockton Symphony Chamber Players, Music Dance.edu, the Ursuline Academy Choral Group, the Canton Choral Society, the New England Professional Cheerleaders Alumni Association and many more! To make our 34th anniversary even more special, there were a few special events, including a viewing of the movie Elf and a reading by New York Times best-selling author and illustrator, Peter H. Reynolds. He read from his book The Smallest Gift of Christmas. Twenty signed copies of his book were raffled off to lucky attendees and everyone enjoyed pizza and holiday treats.
Even with so much going on during this busy time of year, we still received a huge outpouring of gifts for the Toys for Tots program at our Elm Street, Dedham Square, East Dedham, Sharon, Walpole, Needham and Norwood Offices. Our Westwood Office also continued its 19th Annual “Giving Tree” program. We were able to help Westwood children receive the gifts on their wish list this holiday season, thanks to your kindness. Many families were affected by your generosity.
And finally, many thanks to the children who took part in our Holiday Card contest in Walpole and the upcoming Snowflake contest in Sharon. Their beautiful artwork is just another reason Dedham Savings has reason to give thanks. Please visit our Facebook page for pictures of the holiday festivities. We wish you and your loved ones a happy and healthy New Year.
