St. Francis House was a recent recipient of a $3,000 charitable grant through the East Boston Savings Bank Charitable Foundation. East Boston Savings Bank's President and CEO Richard Gavegnano was invited to tour the facility by Meryl Pinette, Corporate Engagement Officer and Claudia Haydon, Senior Development Officer. Located in the heart of downtown Boston, St. Francis House serves an average of 500 poor and homeless men and women a day, 365 days a year. Their basic, rehabilitative, and housing services overlap and build on one another to provide the guests with continuous and comprehensive care.
