Q & A Hope Blakely

At First Liberty, we are always looking for ways to serve our community, including getting to know you better. We want to be the type of bank who knows your name. We also want you to get to know us better. Each month we will be featuring one of our employeees in order for us all to learn more about each other. This month, we are featuring Hope Blakely, Administrative Assistant.

Hope with her daughter Brooklyn

Where did you work before FLB?

IBC Bank

Tell us a little bit about what you do here.

I'm the Administrative Assistant at the Collonade. I spend most my time in the mortgage department, but I also have helped Rica with payments and help the commercial loan department. I like to give my help where it is needed.

What is your favorite part of working here?

My co-workers, everyone is so nice and helpful and the fact that I get a chance to learn something in each department.

If you could pick anyone to have lunch with (real or fictional, dead or alive) who would it be and why?

My grandmother, because my daughter never got a chance to meet her and I think my grandmother would think my daughter acts just like her.

What are some of your favorite things to do outside of work?

Taking my daughter to the park and hanging out with family and friends.

What's your favorite vacation spot?

The Bahamas

What might people be surprised to know about you?

I wanted to be a kindergarten teacher when I was in high school.
