At First Liberty, we are always looking for ways to serve our community, including getting to know you better. We want to be the type of bank who knows your name. We also want you to get to know us better. Each month, we will be featuring one of our employees for all of us to learn more about each other. This month, we would like you to meet HR and Marketing Administrative Assistant, Tavner Snelson.

Where did you work before FLB?
I was a Senior Team Leader at Target. Prior to that, I was a Paycom Specialist.
Tell us a little bit about what you do here.
I joined FLB in April 2019 as the HR and Marketing Administrative Assistant. I split my time between the HR and Marketing departments. I have a variety of responsibilities including managing the Bank's social media accounts, writing the monthly newsletter, and processing payroll.
What is your favorite part of working here?
I love the people I work with! I am truly blessed to have Donna Stein and Kathy Bentley as my bosses. Each day I come to work, I know I'm valued and supported. FLB is an amazing place to work and I look forward to my future here!
If you could pick anyone to have lunch with (real or fictional, dead or alive) who would it be and why?
I would love to express my gratitude to J.K. Rowling for creating a magical world I can go to escape. Harry Potter has been a massive part of my life since I read the Sorcerer's Stone in the 5th grade. Fun fact, I listened to all 7 audiobooks 3 times each last year. That's about 351 hours worth of audiobooks.
What are some of your favorite things to do outside of work?
I love to play video games, go on hikes, hangout with my dogs, and watch tv.
What’s your favorite vacation spot?
I love visiting my grandparent's cabin! It's on a small lake between Piedmont and Okarche. I have so many great memories there and it's always fun to visit. It's not much, but it's perfect for me.
What might people be surprised to know about you?
I applied for graduate school at the University of Central Oklahoma last fall. I started my first semester in January and am working towards a Master of Education in Adult Education - Talent Development.
