Try These 5 Productivity Apps to Organize Your Life
These apps help keep your life in order

Whether you stay home with your kids or work a desk job, chances are you have a lot of tasks to accomplish and you need to make sure they get done. Rather than relying on pen and paper lists and notes, take advantage of some of the productivity apps available for download to your phone or tablet.

EverNote

EverNote helps you organize all aspects of your life. With EverNote, you can take detailed notes in meetings, paste clippings from the web, create and monitor your to-do list and attach photos and drawings. EverNote syncs with programs like Google Calendar and Dropbox to make it easier to keep everything organized. Download EverNote from the App Store or Google Play.

Trello

If you’re looking to keep your work team or family organized, check out Trello. Trello is essentially an extremely detailed to-do list. To use, simply create digital “cards” via the web or mobile app and organize them according to urgency. Cards might include household chores, calendar events or just incomplete tasks. Trello has a free tier perfect for most individuals, though there are also paid tiers that include third-party app integration and more. This app is available for Android and iOS devices.

Wunderlist

Wunderlist is designed to help keep your to-do list organized and top of mind. The app allows you to set due dates and reminders, plus assign to-dos to other users. If you need to pick up milk on the way home, Wunderlist will send you a reminder as you’re leaving work to make sure you get it done. Wunderlist is easily accessible from the web, iOS, Android, Windows Phone and even Kindle Fire.

Google Keep

Google Keep is a note-taking app that allows you to organize notes with tags, color categories and labels. You can take notes in a variety of formats, including traditional bulleted lists, checkboxes, images and voice memos. Like Google’s other products, you can share Google Keep with other users, like family or team members working on a project with you. You can also convert your notes into a Google Docs file. Google Keep is available for Android and iOS.

Todoist

If you’re a fan of making to-do lists, Todoist could be your new best friend. You can assign a priority to each task, and even nest them with tasks in a similar category to make it easier to keep work and personal tasks separated. The basic app is free, but if you buy the annual plan for $29 you gain the ability to receive reminders based on location or time and receive charts to show you how well you’re tackling your list. Get Todoist from Google Play or the App Store.

With so many productivity and organization tools available at the touch of a button, it’s easier than ever to keep your life in order.
