Keep the Good Times Rocking and Rolling Thru Spring!
by Connie Braceland

Club 50 continues to rock and roll through the Spring season with more trips and new adventures! Like most months, May has kept our members full of excitement and new travel opportunities, and also less time for staying put!

But speaking of rock and roll...our group just got back from one of our big trips of the year, the 143rd Kentucky Derby! Although nobody came back as a big winner, we all came home rich with great memories.

Any Plans for Memorial Day? We Got Them!

If you are in the Watertown area for the upcoming holiday weekend, make sure you check out Watertown’s Annual Memorial Day Parade on Monday, May 29th.  Watertown Savings Bank marches every year and we may be a little biased, but we seem to think we have one of the most fun floats in town! See some of your favorite Bank employees marching along the float handing out American flags. We will even have our own personal DJ to keep us rocking down the whole parade route! Keep your fingers crossed for good weather this year! The parade starts at 12:00pm in front of Tufts Health Plan on Grove Street and will end at about 1:30pm in Watertown Square. See you all there!

If Only Everyday Looked This Good!

Our Long Island Getaway at Main Beach!
Club 50 just got back from another sold-out trip. The group was in picturesque Long Island May 17th-May 19th. While Boston and most of the Northeast was in midst of a heat wave, there was no other place we wanted to be than on the water! Check out a snapshot from our trip in the picture above.  We visited Main Beach in East Hampton, which was voted as one of the top 10 beaches in the country by Dr. Beach in 2015! Our group would not disagree with that ranking, the views were amazing!

We had a great trip, three-days and two-nights was the perfect amount of time to get a true view of the 118 mile stretch of land known as Long Island. We had a guided bus tour throughout The Hamptons which were filled with wineries, farmland, downtown shopping areas and waterfront restaurants. If only every day's intinerary sounded that good!
