Stepping into Spring with our Best Foot Forward!!
by Connie Braceland
April has arrived and here at Club 50 we were more than ready to shake off our winter boots and step out with our best shoes (or sandals) forward. The month of March was a busy one that held two first-day signups and the opening trip of 2017. If you cant already tell, we were just a little bit excited to get back into our travel swing again!

You Really Cant Beat this View!
The Edward Kennedy Institute day started with a luncheon on the water at the Venezia Restaurant in Boston. The floor to ceiling windows which wrapped around our private section were filled with views of the city skyline. As if that wasnt enough to excite us, you should have tasted the foodsimply amazing! After lunch we jetted off to check out the EMK Institute which was just a short drive away. Upon arrival we were invited into the Institutes replica room of the Senate Chamber. Our group participated in an engaging overview of how the Senate actually works and we were even asked to partake in a debate on a real-life bill proposalit was pretty darn impressive to say the least! The group was then guided through the rest of the museum to view and partake in all the exhibits. The Institute has only been around for two years, however the representations, exhibits and tour guides all ran like a well-oiled machine! We had a great day!
