Falling into the new season!
by Connie Braceland

We thought this summer was a traveling whirlwind, but our calendars continue to keep us just as busy, into the Fall season!

Club 50 recently got back from TWO back-to-back day trips! The first was on Sunday, August 27th for an Elvis Tribute Show at the local Regent Theatre in Arlington, and the other was on Tuesday, September 5th in Cape Cod for a JFK celebration! We wanted to end the month of August rocking and rolling, so went to see a fabulous Elvis performance that had everyone singing along in their seats. The day was kept local all around with a delicious luncheon before the show at Jimmy’s Steer House right down the street from the theatre. It was the perfect way to spend a Sunday afternoon, with great company! Our day trip to Cape Cod after the Labor Day holiday was also a fabulous time. It was a beautiful day to be out and about. The seas were too rough for a cruise, but we had a fabulous JFK “land” tour with a wonderful local guide. Our group always makes the best of every situation. Who says seniors don’t like change? See our “Featured Photo” column for a snapshot of all the fun!

Let’s Soak up the Sun While We Can!
Enjoying the day in Hyannis!
Pictured above is Club 50 Advisory Board Alumni member Martha Rotondi and current Board Member Andrea Goldstein at the JFK Memorial in Cape Cod earlier this month! Our travelers enjoyed the last of the summer weather on the Cape, where we lunched at the famous Cape Codder Resort, had a guided “Kennedy themed” bus tour and made a few pit stops at both the JFK memorial & museum in downtown Hyannis!
