Newest Update

Hello Club 50!

Just when we thought we were returning to normal, the indoor mask mandates are back!

I know we are all tired of wearing them again, and feeling a little nervous about gathering with friends and families, but we just have to do it!

If the only way we can see each other is to be fully vaccinated, and wear a mask indoors, then so be it!

The last thing we want is to go backwards.

Our first trip of the year is on September 14th, and we have 41 people signed up so far!  We will have our own private ducks, and there are still a few seats open!  Please let me know if you want to join us!   We are requiring all attendees to be fully vaccinated, so I hope everyone will feel comfortable and safe on our trips.

Our second trip of the year includes a visit to the American Heritage Museum.  Check out the forms section on the left.

In other news, I wanted to let you know that Arielle has transferred to the Banks Lending Department.

Over the past 15 months, not much was happening in Club 50, and the Lending Department was extremely busy!  Arielle went over to help out, and decided she really liked it!  We are very sorry to lose her but happy for the Lending Department!  We wish Arielle the very best.

Another question I have been getting a lot is…”Are we having the holiday parties this year?”

I am sure it will come as no surprise, given the current state of affairs, but no, we have decided to wait one more year before we bring the parties back.  We are all disappointed, but with so much advance planning needed, we had to make the tough decision.  I do feel it is the right decision, and I hope you all do too.

All I can keep saying is, hang in there!  Call each other to say hello.  Get outside while the weather is still good.  If you feel comfortable enough, come on the trips with us.  The forms section has the list of what we are planning this year.  I have been back at my desk since mid-June.  Stop in and say hello!

As my Dad used to say, “Think positive, and keep smiling.”

And very soon, we will be “On The Road Again.”

Until then, stay well.

Connie
