ATHENA Lenawee annually recognizes those in our community who are dedicated to cultivating and developing women in leadership. Lenco Credit Union is proud to announce one of our very own, Linda Arnett, Vice President, Mortgage Lending, has been awarded the Athena Leadership Award. The award is given annually to a woman who assists women in reaching their full professional leadership potential, while demonstrating excellence, creativity and initiative. “Linda is the consummate team player and wants everyone to be involved,” said Ben Neal, President CEO of Lenco Credit Union. “She encourages and counsels fellow employees and is respected by everyone with whom she works.” We, here at Lenco, along with many others who know her, agree that Linda Arnett is well deserving of this honor and very proud. Lenco would also like to congratulate Allison Ott for receiving the Young Professionals Award and Remax Main Street for receiving the Parthenon Business Leadership Award. The Athena Award Event will be held May 10, 2018 at Siena Heights University.
Lenco Credit Union Board of Directors has approved the membership with FEDERAL HOME LOAN BANK OF INDIANPOLIS (FHLBI). This membership will enable Lenco to collaborate with Habitat of Lenawee for grant funds available from FHLBI through their Community Investment Program which includes the Neighborhood Impact Program(NIP). NIP assists existing homeowners with incomes at or below 80% of the area median income (AMI) to rehabilitate their homes. The maximum subsidy that can be requested per household is $7,500.00. All funding is limited to a first-come, first-served basis.
